Hi! I'm Colin
professional food photographer

Coming to NYC for the first time from a rural town in California was an eye-opener. Everything was different.

I had just graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography and wanted to work in the capital of advertising photography.

I put in the grueling hours as an assistant to photographers and at 27 years old opened my own studio downtown.

Over the years I’ve learned that food was my passion, the sweet spot. I love the textures, organic shapes, and all the people who work to bring it all together. My team of assistants, food & prop stylists, art directors, and everyone under one roof to create magic.

I love the challenge of bringing different lighting, reflection, and all aspects to the diverse sets of foods from ice cream, pizza, and pasta.
